Overview
Office of the University Registrar Testing Services facilitates transitions to and within the University by providing university course placement exams, exams for course credit, and exams to meet graduation requirements, as well as professional and correspondence exams for the community.
Available Exams
Parking and Directions
Paid visitor parking is available in the Bone Student Center and South University Garage.
Testing is located on the ground floor in 103 Moulton Hall. The building is located on the northeast side of the quad.
Proctoring Services
You can schedule a proctored exam through Testing Services. Our services are available to Illinois State students and students at other institutions.
Illinois State Testing Services cannot accommodate high numbers of individual course exams from the same class nor can we accommodate entire classes. We are able to proctor exams for individual students who missed a course exam due to unusual circumstances as approved by the instructor and as space is available in our Testing Center.
If more than five students in your class need to have the exam proctored, please work within your department to arrange for the exam to be administered.
Request a Proctored Exam
A faculty member should submit Exam Request Form at least five business days prior to the requested exam date or exam time frame.
Students will not be able to schedule exams until our office has the completed form from the instructor.

Students
Students can also request a proctored exam by:
- Asking your instructor or your institution's contact person to submit the Exam Request Form.
- Contacting Testing Services to schedule an appointment at least three days before your exam date.
Students will not be able to schedule an exam until the Testing Services office receives the completed form from the instructor.
